Why does'nt my home a/c fan blower come back on after it cools my home?

my home a/c cools my home fine, but when it holds the temp and shuts off it gets warm in the home again. the fan blower doesn't come on but the compressor does and ice forms on the coils,so i shut the system off with the breaker on the unit and wait a few hours.I flip the breakers on again and the the fan comes on and everything works fine again until it gets to the cooled selected cool off point.

It sounds like you need a Freon charge. Or it could also be that the compressor is starting to bad. (I favor the Freon - what is the age of the unit?)

Either way --- Time for a service call. From a qualified professional
Reply:there is a couple of things that may be happening. first off the freezing issue. that's either a blockage in air flow(dirty filter, dirty coil, etc) or a low/high charge. the blower motor is probably going into overload and comes back on after it cools down. you need an EPA certified tech to come look at your unit
Reply:So after a normal cycle, the unit shuts down, then after temp rises in the house, thermostat kicks it back on and the condenser comes on but not the air handler? That is odd.

If the fan doesn't work, then it is going to freeze up, so that is not caused by low refrigerant or a dirty filter. It is because there is no air circulating.

Try this, after the unit cycles down on a normal run, go and pull the thermostat down to make it come on again. Does the air handler come on? If it does, bump the temp up to turn it off and wait a few more minutes and try it again.

If it doesn't come on when you pull the temp down, I am not sure what it is. An over heated contact, bad capacitor, I can't think of anything that could be reset.

Sorry I couldn't be more help
