How much would it cost me if i do not hire an attorney to have a Class C Misdemeanor expunged from my record?

was arrested in 5/06 ofr a very minor domestic assault. I I hired an attorney and perfomed 6 months of Anger mangement. I enterd a plea of not guilt and had the case dissmissed, but the criminal record shows a Class C Misdemeanor.

How much would it cost me if i do not hire an attorney to have a Class C Misdemeanor expunged from my record?
Good luck i cant seem to find in the state of texas any attorney willing to help with exsponging my assault misd. record and it is affecting employment at all levels! and on top of that i have a felony drug charge that is showing up and is not mine and no one seems to care! and cant find attorney to get this off either! looks like the system is failing us good ol americans again!
Reply:Domestic Assault charges, due to their nature, are not always expungable. Costs of expunging charges vary state to state and charge to charge. The best thing to do is contact your local District Attorney's office or Cleark of Courts. Who handles it varies state to state and even county to county.

I wish you luck. Even with it being "only" a Class C misdemeanor, domestic assualt charges are hard to removed from a record.
Reply:i dont know but i had to pay 75 dollars to get a peiti theft charge sealed from my record

Does an airport have to have an operating control tower to be classified as being within Class C airspace?

Is an "operating" control tower an "Absolute Must" for the airspace around an airport to be considered as Class C airspace?

Does an airport have to have an operating control tower to be classified as being within Class C airspace?
An airport with an operating control tower will almost always be surrounded by Class B, C, or D airspace.

Control Zones:

Many people often refer to this airspace as a control zone. Though no longer an official Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) term, our interactive airspace map will show you all of the control zones surrounding America's Class B (shown in blue) and C (shown in magenta) airports.

Class C Airspace is the airspace from the surface to 4,000 feet above the airport elevation. Class C airspace will only be found at airports that have an operational control tower, are serviced by a radar approach control, and that have a certain number of IFR operations.

How long did it take for you to recover from a c-section?

Had a c-section a week and a half ago and I am very frustrated because of the pain and limited inability to hold, feed and change my baby. I just stopped taking darvocet and motrin since I am pumping milk and I am afraid the meds might affect my child, so I am just toughing it out daily. Doctor said I could drive 2wks after the operation. I researched about it, and says that you won't feel like yourself again until after 2mos. Is that true for you moms who had a c-section? Please advise. Also, when did your bleeding stop?

Thanks in advance to your helpful replies.

How long did it take for you to recover from a c-section?
hey there i have had 2 c-sections and to be honest i would say it took about a month to feel good and 2 months to feel great a week and a half is to soon to expect to much and i know how you feel i felt so powerless when i could not jump right up to get my baby try Tylenol for pain if your in to much pain it will only make it worse so try Tylenol when it gets to bad and the bleeding is different for everyone but for me the intense bleeding stopped after about 2 weeks and then it was like having a period for about two more but the breast feeding help a lot and after a month i stopped and did not get it back till i quit breastfeeding as hard as it is try to take it easy and just know you had major surgery so it will take time to heal! good luck with the new little one and congrats!
Reply:I had a C-section with my son and I swear to god I was up and about within 4 days. Ask your doctor about a new procedure. What my Dr. did (Dr. Tollie Oliver, Providence Hospital Washington DC) was, he performed a procedure called liquid stitches. I didnt get stitches or staples on the outside. After he delivered my son, he stitched the inside layers but he used liquid stitches (glue) on the outside. I didnt have to monitor the site or anything. I have a tiny line across the bikini line. The glue dissolved in about 4 weeks and I swear to you that I was able to go about (cautiously) my bussiness regarding nursing and caring for my son the moment I got home. Furthermore, do not torture yourself by not taking your meds. I nursed my baby in the hospital and at home and I took percocet and motrin 4 times a day together, (I guess that aided in my abilities ..lol) untill I ran out..lol... it is fine ,,, it does not secrete in breast milk. My son is happy and healthy... good luck!!!
Reply:I had a C-section 4 months ago. The area around the scar is itchy, numb, and still occasionally hurts (only slightly).

The bleeding lasts for about 6 weeks, sometimes longer. It eventually fades from red to brown to yellow.

I couldn't get myself out of bed r in and out of a chair for a week and a 1/2. I could somewhat hold my son after 2 weeks, but it was still difficult. It took me several weeks to be able to lay on my side again.

When you are getting up and down, try holding a pillow tightly against your abdomen - it hurts a little, but it makes it easier to get up/down, and it makes the area feel more secure.

I was told not to drive until 5-6 weeks... Your reflexes might be off... And sudden movement can be painful to the incision area.

When they remove the staples you will feel much more "back to normal."

If you are able to lay on your side, try breastfeeding in bed... It is been the easiest for me. Otherwise, try a boppy pillow.

Make sure you are eating and drinking - I found myself not wanting anything those first few weeks - the darvocet especially made me lose my appetite.

Good luck! It gets easier!
Reply:It is true... about 2 months before you start feeling your strength again. Every week will get better. If you need pain medication, do not hesitate to take it... they are also intended to bring down the swelling, which will help you heal.

It was the simple things that were the hardest... opening doors, lying down, sitting up, picking up your baby!!!

If I can give you any advice.... DO NOT OVER-DO-IT.... don't try to be a hero.... you have had major abdominal surgery. If at any time you think you may have an infection.... see a doctor ASAP. I didn't take reddening of my incision really seriously, and ended up spending two extra weeks in the hospital.... not with my baby.
Reply:Hey I have had two c-sections and awaiting my third. The first one was horrible and I could not do much of any thing for about the first 3 weeks and then still had a lot of pains. The second was a lot better I was only down about a week. I'm a bigger person so I think that probably had a lot to do with it and if you had stapes then that also will lengthen the time of recovery.

My bleeding was not that bad and had went away within a week and a half.

Can i convert r12 to r134 A/C myself and how much it cost for toyota 1992 camry?

since i bought it and the A/C is not working so i have two choices either to recharge with the old r12 or change the whole system to the cheap r134 . can i do it myself? i like to fix stuff my own and how much it `ll cost me or how much should i pay for the mechanic and what `s the best place to do this .. tireplus?

Can i convert r12 to r134 A/C myself and how much it cost for toyota 1992 camry?
Freon 12 was banned from use in automotive air conditioners maybe 10 years ago. The proper solution is to have your system evacuated of all Freon 12, replace the AC filter, and recharge with R=134a refrigerant. About 1.5 to 2.5 pounds of refrigerant will be required. Best to have an AC shop do this for you to get good cooling.
Reply:Everybody can tell you the proper way to do it, but all you need is a kit (sold at auto parts stores) to adapt R12 fittings to 134. Doesn't take near as much 134 to fill system. No need to flush or change oil or any of that. I know I'll get crucified for this, but It's worked on hundreds of vehicles in our area. Done some of mine that way years ago and not one problem. Also can get a product called Freeze 12 at auto parts stores that replaces R12. I use this in my farm tractors and a couple of pickups. No changes needed with this.
Reply:I happen to have a 20lb. container of R-12. If you are interested, contact me at carllazvich@yahoo.com. Thank You.

How long was your recovery from a C-section?

I will be having a C-section, the middle to end of June, and my husband is in the army. They will only allow him how ever much time the doctor says I need help for. I have an appointment next Tuesday, but I am curious, should I ask the doctor for a set ammount, what is the typical recovery time. I have three older boys and will be having twins.

How long was your recovery from a C-section?
Wow, you will have your hands full :) Congrats! The typical full recovery time is 6 weeks, however I personally was doing everything for myslef within just a few days after both of my c- sections. Talk to your doctor, be frank about your situation and let him know how full your plate will be.
Reply:Hi there, Tell your doctor to request that he is home for at least a month. You will not actually be feeling bad, but you need him there for a minimum of a month!

I had a C Section with my Daughter (Huge 10lbs4oz). They get you up right away in the hospital (like within 12 hours. You will be in the hospital in most cases for 5 days recovery, and then once you are out you are not supposed to drive for 2-3 weeks. You are also only allowed to go up %26amp; down stairs Once a day for the first week or two. Make sure you actually follow thier advice, and don't do too much because you can risk developing scar tissue at the incision site that will cause pain continually (on%26amp;off) for ever pretty much. Basically though I felt OK within a week of being home. I was moving around fine and there were no reall problems. Although it is major surgey that you need to take seriously it is a routine proceedure and you will be able to tak walks (although don't push it) toward the end of your first week home. One other thing that you need to keep in mind is that you are not supposed to lift anything more than 10lbs for at least 2-3 weeks so no carying your other children, pushing your vaccum, or carrying a laundry basket full of clothes (imagine... my daughter was more than 10lbs to start with!)

Good luck with the rest of you pregnancy and with your delivery! Make sure that you have lots of help set up for when your husband has to leave (I am sooo sorry for you both that he will have to go!), you will need help with your other children and the 2 new additions!

Congratulations!
Reply:you will need about 6 weeks to recover maybe longer maybe less everyone is so different.... i had my son c-section and i was in the hospital for 2 nights... and when they let me go home the doctor told me if it hurt don't do it... people couldn't believe that i was walking up stairs the same day they let me out i lived on the second floor... and was driving 2 days after i came home... so it is just gonna be what is right for you... good luck....

my obgyn told me that it takes 2 years to fully recover from a c-section just wanted to add that in....
Reply:I had a C section and my recovery time was 12 weeks. That is the safest amount of time for recovery for C section
Reply:I agree with most of the answers. The doctor will say your recovery will be 6 - 8 weeks. I had three nine pound baby boys three years apart. My youngest son is two and I agree

with Havanah_A - I am still recovering from that last one.

I personally think it took me three years to recover from

my first two c-sections.
Reply:after my c-section i was fine after 3 days..i needed some help with heavylifting but i was doin just fine maybe also cause i knew that my husband was about to come home for leave cause he was stationed in iraq during that moment...
Reply:You can't lift anything heavier than the babies for 4-6 weeks, so you really need someone with you a lot up until then. I felt fine (no pain or soreness) after 2 weeks, but we had a 15 month old so my husband (or someone) had to be there to get her out of her crib etc. (we did actually find that if we put the crib side down and put a step stool there she could climb out on her own!) So if you have to manage you probably can! Is this your first c-section? I found that I recovered more quickly after the second.
Reply:I had two girls and then twin girls and had to have a c section, generally it takes about 6 weeks. Mostly you cannot lift anything heavier than your baby. and you obviously should not have sex, or work out during this time.

and even though the recovery is generally 6 weeks, you will still be tender and sore longer. I still have some soreness now and then and it has been 2 and a half years.

and good luck getting him time off, my hubby is navy and they gave him 10 days.

congratulations!!!!
Reply:Boy, with three older boys and twins on the way, I would push the doctor to recommend as much time as possible! Six weeks is considered fully recovered, but at two weeks you can start to do most things again. I don't know what kind of house you live in, but I was told I could only do the stairs once a day for the first two weeks. You still shouldn't be lifting your older children, and since you're having twins you'll need extra help. Ask your doctor to write your letter stating that you need a minimum of one month of help from your husband. It can't hurt to ask, and if they only give him half the time it's still two weeks.
Reply:ive had one and i was in the hospital for 5days and needed my other half off work for a week after that because you are so sore and cant walk and it is very hard to pick the baby in and out of the bassinet
Reply:I have had 2 c-sections with my first i was in the hospital 3 nights with my second it was 2 nights but some women may need 4 or 5 it just depends. Also your recovery will be fast but you will be sore.I was walking really good the next day "considering".....Anyway good luck and the best to your husband!Oh yes recovery is 6 weeks but you will be getting around faster than you think
Reply:I had a csection at the end of January and I was in the hospital for 3 days.My mom came up to help me for the first week and by the second week I was feeling alot better but still a little sore.I also have 3 boys ages 6,5,3 and a girl 14 months to take care of.They say to take it easy for about 6 weeks but I did not follow the docters orders.Just talk to your husband and you docter and see what they gotta say.
Reply:my husband was only home with me for the first like 2 nights after i got home. but i had one baby and no other children. i would suggest asking him to take off at least until you get your staples out you feel allot better after that. but get as much time as you can with twins you are gonna need all the help you can get.
Reply:The recovery time takes about 6 weeks. No climbing stairs,

lifting or pulling.

Should I drop a class and take a W or a possible C?

I'm a freshman.I might get a C in this statistics class. I don't know if I should drop it and take a W or take a possible C. I'm planning on going to med school so this would hurt my GPA if I got a C, since last quarter I had a 3.9 something. It would be my only W so far.

Should I drop a class and take a W or a possible C?
If you plan on retaking it, find out if your school allows you to retake a class with a previous grade of a C.

If you do not plan on retaking it, just drop it. One W will not look that bad, and a C may screw up your GPA
Reply:Since it's not required for your major (it sounds like it's just a general education class), it won't make that much of a difference when you actually apply as long as you keep up the excellent work.
Reply:i think you should just drop the class if it hurts your GPA.

Has anyone sprayed water on their A/C unit to help it cool your house?

Just wondering, a local A/C repair man suggested that I could do that during the peak summer heat to drop the temperatures in my house by a few more degrees. Anyone else tried it?

Has anyone sprayed water on their A/C unit to help it cool your house?
There is a little kit you can get that has a tube with spray heads. You put it on the outside evaporator and it cools that more so the a/c works easier. It claims to save you money on electric bills.

It is the same idea but easier than standing there with a hose.
Reply:I've never heard of that one. I have heard of setting a sprinkler on the roof but it didn't make much a difference.
Reply:That may work,,,, but I'm not standing out there in the heat. I've sprayed them down to clean them ,,,, that's it.
Reply:I think he is talking about a swamp cooler, that helps. If not, he is talking about keeping the unit cool so it will not use its energy to stay cool and over heating.
Reply:I have a very smart cousin that put a unit together that came on with his AC unit to spray a mist of water around his condenser and it worked great. You can see this effect at work by spraying water on your roof when it is very hot, the water gets hot and the inside of your house will cool down, I used to do this little experiment at my first house and could actually cycle the air conditioner on and off with the garden hose. A draw back to this type of thing might be a build up of calcium on the fins of the condenser and subsequent damage, you might consider the old fashion swamp cooler pads built around your unit to shade it and cool the incoming air without direct contact to the aluminum fins. Some people also shade the South and West sides of the house with fast growing vines (hops) to prevent the heat gain in the first place, this may also be done with a decorative shade of some sort...

Good luck!
Reply:I think what is meant by this is. The more you cool down the warm side of the evaporator coil the more efficiently the refrigerant can cool down the cold side of the AC. This will in theory work, there should be a significant drop in temperature. but never build the system yourself. you can make metal parts rust and break the compressor. Rather consult a Specialist.
Reply:If your going to spray water use it to to clear from the AC cooling / radiator fins anything that maybe clogging the air flow through it. Sometimes cut grass, old leaves or other fluff gets sucked into the fins. Or you can 'comb' the stuff away with a wire brush. Cooling air flow restrictions will help in the long run.
Reply:That would definitely work, but You may have repercussions.
Reply:Never heard of that one. I don't think it would work. First, water isn't as cold as the refrigerant in the system's lines, so it wouldn't cool it any, second, the moter is electric, spraying water directly on it could hurt it.
Reply:it wont really cool the house down any faster....a 20 degree crossover (difference between supply and return temps) is as good as it gets. but a wetted condenser will take some of the load off the compressor due to the swamp cooler effect. ive seen the amp reading on a compressor go from 14 amp to 3 amp just by washing the coil. when the coil dried out the amps climbed back to about 5 amps. so i guess if a person was to put a mist system on the condenser that came on with the condenser it might save as much money on the electric bill as it raised the water bill.

Reply:I don't think you should go spraying water on your unit. Could electricute yourself or blow up the motor. Now wouldn't that liven up your summer?
Reply:Hmmmm. It sounds like your local AC repairman hasbeen hanging around with "Larry the Cable Guy" to long...... LOL I've never heard of that theory before. I would be considering a larger cfm AC unit.....
