How do I transfer a song from a CD to my C drive on the computer?

When I try to copy and paste a tune into a folder from a CD onto my C drive, it only shows as a shortcut and not the actual tune.

How do I transfer a song from a CD to my C drive on the computer?
Right Click then Copy, go to the desired folder then paste, thats if its MP3 format.


if its audio format(1Kb Size) you need to rip the song, you can do it from the windows media player or Jet Audio.
