What are the benefits, other than being able to purchase certain firearms, of having a C&R license?

I also would like to know the minimum age requirement in order to obtain a C%26amp;R license.

What are the benefits, other than being able to purchase certain firearms, of having a C%26amp;R license?
The minimum age to obtain a C%26amp;R 03 license is 21. While you cannot purchase any different firearms with a C%26amp;R 03 license than you could without one, you CAN have them shipped directly to your home, which means that you don't have to pay an FFL to transfer the weapon to you - check out www.aimsurplus.com for a great selection of C%26amp;R weapons. That $30, 3-year license will pay for itself the first time you buy a firearm (avoid the $25-75 transfer fee from a local FFL)!

One other benefit of the C%26amp;R 03 license is that many merchants, including www.midwayusa.com, will consider you a dealer and give you dealer discount pricing, which can really add up if you buy ammunition, reloading components, etc regularly. It's definitely a worthwhile investment!
Reply:The main benefit for me is that I can add to my collection much cheaper by not having to pay the middle man (FFL Dealer) and have it shipped to me directly from the wholesaler. The minimum age is 21 Y/O. Remember, this is a federal collecters license, not a license to buy and sell firearms. You would need an FFL for that.
