I am trying to compress steam and CO2 at 150 C and 2 bar (abs) to a pressure of 30bar?

I am using a two stage diaphragm compressor to compress steam and carbon dioxide mixture (50 -50 vol%) with inlet temp: 150 C and pressure 2 bar(Abs) to a pressure of 30 bar (abs) and expected outlet temp of 260 C. i plan to use SS316L piping and fittings. What precautions should i take in running the compressor

I am unable to advise about the compressor question simply out of ignorance of the process. Sorry.

What are you trying to accomplish? Have you considered a steam generator?

Basically use steam to create steam in a separate system where you can control the pressure and the mixture.

We do this for the humidity grid in our animal units. Instead of raw steam (with all the added chemicals), we use a steam generator to create "pure steam" out of reverse osmosis water (it uses our industrial steam system for energy).

We also employ SS pipe in our pure steam piping.

G'luck and please reply. My interest is piqued. :)
