How can I move programs from my C drive to my E drive on my computer?

Like all the Java updates and such that are taking up space on my C drive. I have 1% space of C and 98% on E drive.

How can I move programs from my C drive to my E drive on my computer?
Reinstall to your E: drive, otherwise just cut %26amp; paste
Reply:you can go to your PF then cut and paste, that's what i do, and it works for me.
Reply:if they're installed programs, uninstall and reinstall on E:

if they're just files you downloaded, just highlight then cut and paste them into a folder on your E: drive.
Reply:right click and then click move to...
Reply:open my computer and go into your c drive ,right click on the programmes you want to move, hover over send to%26gt; then my computer. then go back to my computer, and the programmes should be there, then click and drag the programmes over to your e drive.
Reply:Uninstall them and reinstall them on the E: drive.
Reply:system updates such as those for java, must be on the c drive.

you should uninstall programs that are installed on c:, then reinstall them and when it asks you, install them to e:\%26lt;program%26gt;.

basically any optional programs installed on your system can be reinstalled to e:.

hope that helps!
Reply:If they are windows programme or updates you are talking abt then you really cant do anything abt them but..why dont you move all your applications and personal files to E drive? To move files..you simply have to cut pase from C to E..do you wanna know how thts done?

To move the Application progs from C to E..there is no other way but to uninstall it from C (by going to Control Panel and using the Add/Remove functionality) and then re-installing it on E. Let me knw if you got any queries on this.
Reply:do u mean d drive..??

and open ur c drive press ctrl and a and drag it over , making sure you have the oter drives window open next to it lol
Reply:On Windows XP or Vista you can just select all of the files and simply click and drag. Then go through and delete them from the C drive by clicking REMOVE....DO NOT PRESS DELETE or it will erase them all together.
Reply:What you want to do is open up your c drive folder. Then if you have a pc which I think you do hit control a to select all of the documents. Then drag them to your e drive. That should be good.
