How many children can a mother have through c-section?

I'm having my third child. My first two children were born through c-section. I'm wondering if it is safe to have the third or maybe the fourth child.

How many children can a mother have through c-section?
I have had 3. When I asked my doctor, he said he had a woman deliver 6 children by c-section. He did not see a problem with me trying for a fourth.

Reply:they say no more then 3 c sections but u can have v bac which is vaginal birth after c section my mother inlaw had 5 c sections n she is ok i think its all about your ability to carry full term

This was not planned, in fact my doctor told me (after


my youngest son was born) it wouldn't be safe for me to have


another c-section. After this baby my is born I might get my


tubes tied, or my husband might get a vasectomy - but at


very least I will use birth control.

Reply:My wife had 4 that way. The doc's said another wasn't safe, not that we intended to have another one.
