What are the chance's of my one year old Siberian husky getting an emergency C section?

I have two husky's male and female. On one occasion we went out and left the dog's with some friend's, and we told them to keep the two apart especially because the female has only a year old, and i know they shouldn't have puppie's that young, and our friend's failed to keep them apart, now she is a month's pregnant, i couldn't give an abortion because it's against my believes, i just wanted to know is it most definite that she will need an emergency c section?

What are the chance's of my one year old Siberian husky getting an emergency C section?
It would be extremely unlikely for a large long-nosed dog to need a section. It is not common at all for large dogs with long noses to have sections. Less than one out of a hundred would need one.

It is uncommon. Unless Mom just wears out, refuses to push, or simply has two trying to come at once, it doesn't happen. The statistics for longer nosed big dogs for sections is very small compared to short faced dogs. It can happen, but it is very rare.
Reply:The main problem with a young ***** whelping pups is she doesn't know what to do with them. Many young females do just fine but, your chances of her not properly caring for them is much greater. She is like a teenage mother. She may not take responsibility for the litter and abandon them or not clean and feed them properly. Its much more common for a young female to be overwhelmed and confused. Good Luck.

Added: Breed does play a part in the C-section possibility. Chi's, Bull dogs, Peke's etc are prone to C sections anyway. Hounds seem to have the least events for them. I dont know about Huskies........See I reread the question and saw you did mention the breed..........duh to me.
Reply:You really can't tell. It is true that smaller dogs usually require C-sections more often, but larger dogs often need them too.

If I were you, since you are against the idea of abortion, I would get hold of a good mentor. Go to the AKC website (if you are in America) or your local kennel club's website and look for the breeder directory. Alternatively, go to a dog show and find a professional and kind-hearted breeder there who will help mentor you through this. A whelping ***** is no mean feat to care for, especially when she is this age. A mentor will help guide you through the pregnancy, and may even bring the ***** to his place for the whelping to take care of any complications if they occur.

He will know what to look out for at what stage, and have the right contacts at hand should anything crop up. He might even be able to help you find homes for the pups.

Of course none of this will be for free... but it might be worth it to know that your girl and her litter will be taken care of.
Reply:No way for any of us to know unless there is a vet among us. She is pretty young and is going to be difficult as a mom at best. When this is over please do get them both sterilized.
Reply:You should speak to you vet, it depends a lot on her bone structure and how heavier build the dog (male) is. also the size of the puppies, your vet may advise you to book in for a c section, or he may just see how she goes.

The only one who can answer this question properly is your vet. I advise you to speak to them well before she is due, so they can keep tabs on her and the puppies growth.
Reply:well do not listen to people that say long nosed dogs do not need c-sections... They do! Chances are she will go into labor and everything will be ok but you need to be there with her to make sure... We just had c-section this week on a very long nosed thin breed..it is not always the size and shape but sometimes the uterus just does not work right...

she is young but her age will not make a difference in the care she gives her pups...she will either be a good mom or she will not...a c-section can make it harder for a mama dog to accept her pups because she did not clean them and is not real sure where they came from..but in a day or 2 she will do her job

good luck
