What does c/w stand for on my GFCI box for my aboveround swimming pool lighting?

Just bought a house with an above ground pool. It has an Ambience lighting system that doesn't work (no power lights come on GFCI box). I replaced fuse with another with same amp/volt from Home Depot. Light comes on box but when hit power switch, goes immediately off and fuse blows. Beside the power switch is another switch called the C/W switch. Any clue on what that means? I dont' have the cash to get a pool tech out and would hate for it to be something I could fix.

sounds like you got a short between the switch and the light. you need to check and see if any of the wires are nicked. check if you see any copper. or you may have water or moister getting in your light fixture. make sure there are no holes in fixture. silicone comes in handy. your wires maybe hooked up wrong. make sure your black wires are tied to black wires and white with white and green to green or bare. as far as c\w im not sure it might mean cover with i don't know.
Reply:your question is not clear. GFCI box? Do you mean GFCI receptacle? Power light? Do you mean the little light on the GFCI which indicate the reset is off? Then you push it in? Technically speaking your explanation indicates a short in the circuit. The short may be as simple as a loose connection, miswired, bad connection or wrong parts. Unless you have some electrical experience get someone that does. You don't want to go swimming where electricity is a problem.
