How do I re install C drive for Windows Vista?

Ok, so I got loads of really bad virus on my computer, pretty much from me just downloading a bunch of things without caution. I have everything I need to re download what I have now so I don't mind losing everything. So how can I re install my C drive so my computer will erase everything and I can start from scratch? Also if re installing the C drive doesn't do that please let me know what does and tell me how to doit, thanks.

How do I re install C drive for Windows Vista?
You have to start up your computer from the vista disk. On start up change the boot setting in bios to start from the cd drive first and then follow all the promts to accomplish what you want. It's easy with Vista

Note: For a completely 'clean' install (meaning hard drive contents wiped out completely), choose the "Format" command found after clicking the Drive Options (Advanced) link. Then click the Next button and installation will proceed.





Once Windows is reinstalled, you will have to reinstall your other programs individually from your original install disks.

if you want to start from scratch than first enable boot from cd option in your bios settings. i can't tell you procedure because every other board has got different bios. so try using finding boot options and changing boot priority by selecting your cd rom as your first boot device and setting your hard disk to second. save and reboot. now insert your vista installation dvd to your drive and boot from it. now navigate to install new system. after that when it come to selecting hard drive partition than select every partition one by one and click on disk options. and than delete all partitions. now click on create partition. define your disk space for your partition. and make partitions three or four or more as per your choice. now select new c drive and install windows on it. after that. when OS is installed. you can format all other partitions to reuse them. if you stuck up some where contcat me
