Should I drop a class and take a W or a possible C?

I'm a freshman.I might get a C in this statistics class. I don't know if I should drop it and take a W or take a possible C. I'm planning on going to med school so this would hurt my GPA if I got a C, since last quarter I had a 3.9 something. It would be my only W so far.

If you plan on retaking it, find out if your school allows you to retake a class with a previous grade of a C.





If you do not plan on retaking it, just drop it. One W will not look that bad, and a C may screw up your GPA
Reply:Since it's not required for your major (it sounds like it's just a general education class), it won't make that much of a difference when you actually apply as long as you keep up the excellent work.
