I had a d %26amp;c for a partial molar in February. My first period after the d%26amp;c has lasted for 11 days, but it has been on and off. Is this typical?
Is it normal to have longer periods (11 days!) following a d %26amp; c for a partial molar pregnancy?
yes this is normal i had this after i had 2 miscarriges although if your really worried you should go see your gp or call nhs direct they can be very helpful
Reply:Yes dear this is very normal , it always happen after abortions and especially if there was no complete abortion and the doctor performed D%26amp;C. all the best
Reply:Yes, it's normal. You may find that your period will be irregular, or unusually heavy at times, as well as longer. It does eventually get (kind of) back to normal.
