Have any c-section ladies had dull throbbing pains inside more than six months after their operation?

I had my second c-section six months ago and my incision is completely healed. However, I have dull throbbing pains off and on in my lower abdomen and in the general incision area. The best way I can describe it is that my insides ache. My obgyn did not seem worried but I was would feel better if other people had experienced the same thing. Thanks in advance!

nope had two c sections and not problems. you had best get with the doctor and find out what it is thee has to be soemting wrong. maybe they left someting in there hey its possible.
Reply:I had similar pains up until about 6 months after my c-section.

My Gyno said it was my body getting back to normal, then about a month later, it stopped, and I haven't had that pain since.

I would definately see your Dr. anyway, to be on the safe side. Get another opinion, I saw 2 Dr.s and a gyno until I was satisfied I found someone who knew what they were talking about, and that I trusted.
Reply:I had a c-section and for like a year after I'd have some dull little pains every now and then where the incision was made...It was definitely nothing terrible and I wouldn't be doubled over with pain or anything...I never really felt the need to discuss it with my doctor either...I am sure that all it was, was nerves...probably scar tissue forming...just normal stuff after a major surgery...I honestly never had anything seriously wrong or hurt on me...I healed beautifully and have a great "battle scar" which I am proud of...

So, all in all, it's more than likely nerve endings firing and finishing their recovering...hope this gives you some peace of mind...and of course if there's MAJOR pain, you obviously know what to do!! Congrats on your baby!!
