What is the fastest way to loose my post baby belly, after having a c-section?

I want to get back to my pre-pregnant weight or smaller if possible...which is still 10 poinds away...but I can't do any excercises as advised by the doctor because of the c-section.

What is the fastest way to loose my post baby belly, after having a c-section?
Until you get cleared to do real ab work, go for a pair of Spanx. They're reasonably priced at Target. Take lots of walks with the baby - it's good for both of you. Go slow if you need to.
Reply:Stick to a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and veg, but please don't do anything drastic whilst breastfeeding. Baby needs you right now! Keep your diet high in proteins too for energy [which is what we all need, right?!] Steer clear of high-impact exercise but there is no harm in walking. Get baby out in the buggy and do a few laps of the neighbourhood each day. You'll be surprised, it makes a difference.
Reply:I know how you feel. I had a 10 pound baby and she was a week early by c-section. I was all belly and I measured 46 inches from breast bone to pelvic bone and I am 5'1. So you can imagine. I lost 40 pounds in 3 weeks so I was below my pre-pregnancy weight. I gained in my arms and hips though too. I have been walking and cutting back on carbs and drinking lots of water. Wait at least 12 weeks after your c-section before doing any exercise. Then start out light.
Reply:hii there

u need not worry about your belly...jst have some light walk and drink lots of water better if u can take lukewarm water every time, also takng honey with some lemon juice in lukewarm water the first thing in the morning will help a lot

u can also go on fruit fasting for a month, but not now as your child is too young...fruit fasting cuts the body fat fast and removes toxins from body...it will add glow to your face

check dis site...i hope u will find something helpful here: www.eternal1.org.in
Reply:Breastfeeding!!!!!!!

I had c section 2.Every one says you will take a long time but breast feeding shrinks ya really fast. On the other hand it took ya 9 months to get that way it will take just as long to get back....oh you can get a postpartum belt that helps a lot too!

PS the incision will hurt for a long time
Reply:I had a c-section with my first and will have another one with this one. Walking really helped. It took me awhile before I could go very far, but just down to the corner and back helped. I also watched what I ate. I hate vegetables, but I forced myself to eat them besides other fatty side dishes and that helped some.
Reply:Breast feed
Reply:jsu tdo gentle stretches - walk around the house and go on a diet!

good luck - i'm sure you look lovely the way you are!
Reply:Breast feed!!! And stay on a healthy diet. I had two c-sections and I breast fed both and ate right, well whenever I had a chance to eat. Also the hospital gave me a band to put around my stomach to help me walk so I wouldn't be slumped over because of the c-section. That also helped me lose some weight.
